why I never received my order from a store in the uk?
On June 01, 2010,I ordered a few things from a store called Afro World-uk. My order came to $62.79. I was expecting to receive an email from afro world -uk to give me a day that they would ship my order. I have a receipt that I copied off the computer from the store where I made the order. Her it is going on 2 months and I have not heard anything about my order or my money which went through paypal and 3 days later when my bank statement came it was on my statement. I emailed the store and no one never answers me. lately I went on the computer to check what was going on and they have processing my order which been on their web site for the last almost 2 months. And yesterday I went to check the process again and now it says that their site is under construction. How can people just create a web site and promote things or items and and they know it is a scam. I just now have a system on my computer where the people tell you if the web site is a scam and next to this store they have a question mark, I wish I would have gotten this system earlier and then I would have known not to place an order with them. For anybody who comes across this site AFRO WORLD -UK don't order nothing you probably won't get your items you ordered or your money back, And I KIND OF FAULT PAYPAL TO BECAUSE THEY SHOULD KNOW WHO THEY ARE DEALING WITH.

Who Could Forget That?Recapturing Some of 2009’s Greatest Events
Way back in 2008, did you ever imagine that the year to come would hold events like a worldwide outbreak of disease? How about the inauguration of Barack Obama, the nation’s first African-American President, or an organized terrorist attack on Christmas day? The year’s events were unforgettable. First, let’s take a look at a great leader who took a major government position around this time last year.
The inauguration of Barack Obama as president marked a milestone in U.S. history. On January 20th, the country’s first African-American President was sworn into office. Citizens from across the country gathered at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to witness a historic event that had a record attendance for any event in D.C. It ended up as one of the most observed events in the world. After he officially became president, a huge task lay ahead of him; he needed to mend the broken economy. He has slowly, but surely, succeeded with that, as the economy began to turn around in the fourth quarter of ‘09. As the housing market stabilized, many areas started to recover. As of June, home re-sales shot up a good nine percent and sales of new homes jumped seventeen percent. Construction also raised a hefty twenty percent. The Midwest has shown the greatest improvement; places such as Nebraska, Iowa, and the Dakotas never dug themselves too far into the rut in the first place. The “Big Three” automakers, major contributors to Detroit’s epic failure in terms of the economy, have realized their faults and have started to design and even build better cars. They really have to because they need sales if they ever want to repay the billions (yes, billions) of dollars of federal loans they received from “generous” taxpayers through the stimulus package. Just as decisions needed to be made about the failing economy and businesses, choices needed to come from Congress, too.
A huge controversy in the latter part of 2009, the health care reform bill received approval in the Senate when Nebraska’s democratic senator, Ben Nelson, provided the 60th vote needed to pass the bill. According to a poll conducted by the Omaha World-Herald, Nelson’s approval ratings have recently dipped below fifty percent, all because of his decisions about health care. The House of Representatives has passed a similar bill, and the two versions have yet to merge into one final version. In a completely different branch of government, Sonia Sotomayor became the Supreme Court’s first-ever Hispanic justice. She also became the 111th justice and the third female associate justice.
Another person who made it to the front page, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab expected to die as he sped through the air on a Northwest Airlines flight headed for Detroit on Christmas day. He has no fear of flying, but he knows he will set off a bomb (or at least try to) sometime before landing. Abdulmutallab hid a bomb inside his underpants and tried to use it to blow up the plane carrying 298 people. Fortunately, the substance provided by Al Qaeda failed to ignite properly; passengers subdued the Nigerian man by jumping on him. He remains in custody at a federal prison in Milan, Michigan, under charges of the attempted murder of 298 people. While 298 people almost died last year, one very famous man did perish. Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop”, died last year at the age of fifty. The man who influenced music so much now rests in peace. At first, people thought he died naturally. However, multiple autopsies revealed that Jackson died from high drug usage, mainly propofol and lorazepam. His doctor, who remains under investigation for purposely trying to kill him, administered the drugs as pain killers. Of course, this happened in a year when many people probably purchased a lot of pain/fever reducers to help themselves overcome their symptoms while battling the 2009 H1N1 swine flu virus. The bug, which originated in Veracruz, Mexico, contains genes from pig, bird, and human flu viruses. The outbreak began in April and gained recognition as a global pandemic when, in June, the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control stopped counting cases. Fortunately, we have come a long way since then, and immunization shots have been given to many. Readily available to the general public, shots put you in a much smaller risk of catching the disease that once intimidated many.
The year’s fastest-growing Internet fad may have intimidated owners of social networking sites more than H1N1 because the “new kid in town” could steal their users. Twitter, as of February 2009, had about four million users. Total numbers currently reach all the way into the tens of millions. People use Twitter to have conversations with others by “tweeting.” People all over the country may have “tweeted” to friends or family members about how a major snowstorm hampered their travel plans for
Christmas. The Midwest received two major snowstorms in December, dumping an average of twenty-four inches of snow in Omaha, one of the hardest hit cities. The first storm had Midwesterners complaining about the five-foot-plus snowdrifts everywhere they looked. Kids, however, rejoiced as most received not one, not two, but three snow days out of the ordeal. Another storm hit two days before Christmas and lingered through Saturday, sending unappreciated gifts of snow and ice to people who had travel plans for Christmas. The most recent storm dumped a measly 4.5 inches, but high winds the next day created huge snow huge road-blocking snowdrifts for the third time. Road crews, which had not stopped working twelve-hour shifts non-stop since Christmas, literally had to start all over as Mother Nature decided to ruin their hard work.
Hard work never played a role in a gift from President Obama to his daughters. The two girls got a dog this year because Obama thought they had
earned” it, even though they did absolutely nothing. The Portuguese water dog named Bo was a gift from Senator Ted Kennedy. President Obama succeeded in keeping the dog a secret until he unveiled it. The surprised kids had always wanted a dog.
Just as the Obamas found about owning a dog, the 2009 calendar year definitely had its up’s and down’s. I, personally, cannot remember any year that had as much significance to me as 2009. A lot more than ten major events happened in 2009. Only novels and sequels could hold all that 2009 had to offer. As we enter a new decade, we need to remember all that happened before so we can know what to avoid and what to do again. Last year will forever set an example for us in years to come. You can’t argue with that, now, can you?
Sorry it's so long . I had to extend it in the details because it didn't all fit. What grade level does it sound like?
I wrote this like two or three months after Christmas.

Christians, please explain this.. =]?
Well, most Christians know that the fallen angels, who were cast out of heaven and into the 3rd heaven (What we refer to as Space) eventually came down to Earth and took wives among themselves, human wives. My questions are.
1.) Why does the angel, a pure being living without sin and no sex(gender), chose to mate with the women and not men? If they truly are without sex, then it could work either way..
-Please don't answer this with how much easier it is to rape a women, they could just as well seduce a man, also there bloody angels, they are bit stronger than humans...
Reference-----------Angels have no sex in the sense as we understand it. They never procreated and they never marry (Mat 22:30). They are spirit beings and thus have no physical body (1 Corinthians 15:44). However, that being said, they did, in Bible times, appear to men and women on the earth, and always appeared as men, and are always referred to with the masculine pronoun (with one possible exception being Zechariah 5:9). ---------
2.) Why, in a place where there sin is not tolerated, this being heaven, are Angels able to rebel and sin against God? I know they have free will, but why can we not sin in heaven and they can?(with consequence of course)
Let me clarify this question a bit more, the first heaven and the second heaven or two different things, but why does God not make the first heaven perfect already? What will be the difference between the first and second heaven, if an angel or man can just rebel against God again? Could it then be the beginning of another era of sin, like we are in now, except we are just observers, or watchers*?
Reference- Read revelation if you don't know this, or go to Church more often...
3.)What happened to the things they taught us? According to some parts in the Bible and in The book of Enoch, it says they taught us a list of things, such as.. Magick, Astology, Mathematics, The cycles of the moon, Sword Making, Gardening etc. etc.. Where is all this info? its apparent that there was a sudden burst of knowledge in cultural evolution of this period, but Im mainly interested in the magic, I'd like to know if it worked, and how it worked.
NO, not because I want to practice magic, but i would just like to know, if any human knows, how can magic exist in a logical world? God DOES NOT operate without logic, he will never make a square circle, he is a logical being, he sets laws in nature that keeps it this way. So how can this magic exist? Is it perhaps advanced technology? The harnessing of electrons to do things we have never thought of? Or is it a bit more simple, like calling on a demon or other spirit to do something or teach something for us?
4.) Are these fallen angels what we now refer to as Aliens? could they be the ones in control of UFO's? Could they be the "Guradians of the Sky" the Egyptians refer to that helped dictate the construction of the Pyramids? The teaching of the Mayans vast knowledge of Astrology and Math? Could they possible be flightless, as part of their punishment for rebelling against God, and forced to use their unknowable amount of years of knowledge to build these UFO's? Like the Mayan's leader, who was said to come from the stars, could they be transporting us to different planets? How would this scattering effect the apocalypse, seeing as the apocalypse as far as i know will only effect Earth?? Is it a sin to speak to them? They must still be alive now.
5.) Does Satan have access to Heaven right now? The heaven in which God resides. If God does not allow sin into heaven, why is Satan allowed entry to accuse the brethren?

Question #9:
Should I not invite the guy I'm dating to my house because it's too messed up?
The carpets are eight years old & are worn, but I recently had them professionally cleaned & they're okay now. My cat has ruined them with throw up & pee, but I use air freshener on the carpets and the throw up stains don't show (just looks worn). Part of the blinds on my bedroom window are messed up (bent & dirty and need to be replaced). Lastly, my bathroom needs work as the person above me had a leak in her floor that went down to my ceiling, so it is under construction (you can see the wood in a small portion of the ceiling, that part of the ceiling needs replaced). Other than that, my place is clean & not cluttered. Should I not invite this guy over until I get my blinds replaced & my bathroom ceiling fixed? His house is so modern, with everything brand new & big and it is spotless. Mine is nothing compared to his. Help! Thanks.Question #10:

Question #12:
Atheists how do you explain all the prophecies in the bible that have been fulfilled?
Here are some examples. And how could they've been made after the fact when they happen thousands of years after the events?(1) Some time before 500 B.C. the prophet Daniel proclaimed that Israel's long-awaited Messiah would begin his public ministry 483 years after the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25-26). He further predicted that the Messiah would be "cut off," killed, and that this event would take place prior to a second destruction of Jerusalem. Abundant documentation shows that these prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in the life (and crucifixion) of Jesus Christ. The decree regarding the restoration of Jerusalem was issued by Persia's King Artaxerxes to the Hebrew priest Ezra in 458 B.C., 483 years later the ministry of Jesus Christ began in Galilee. (Remember that due to calendar changes, the date for the start of Christ's ministry is set by most historians at about 26 A.D. Also note that from 1 B.C. to 1 A.D. is just one year.) Jesus' crucifixion occurred only a few years later, and about four decades later, in 70 A.D. came the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus.
(2) In approximately 700 B.C. the prophet Micah named the tiny village of Bethlehem as the birthplace of Israel's Messiah (Micah 5:2). The fulfillment of this prophecy in the birth of Christ is one of the most widely known and widely celebrated facts in history.
(3) In the fifth century B.C. a prophet named Zechariah declared that the Messiah would be betrayed for the price of a slave—thirty pieces of silver, according to Jewish law-and also that this money would be used to buy a burial ground for Jerusalem's poor foreigners (Zechariah 11:12-13). Bible writers and secular historians both record thirty pieces of silver as the sum paid to Judas Iscariot for betraying Jesus, and they indicate that the money went to purchase a "potter's field," used—just as predicted—for the burial of poor aliens (Matthew 27:3-10).
(4) Some 400 years before crucifixion was invented, both Israel's King David and the prophet Zechariah described the Messiah's death in words that perfectly depict that mode of execution. Further, they said that the body would be pierced and that none of the bones would be broken, contrary to customary procedure in cases of crucifixion (Psalm 22 and 34:20; Zechariah 12:10). Again, historians and New Testament writers confirm the fulfillment: Jesus of Nazareth died on a Roman cross, and his extraordinarily quick death eliminated the need for the usual breaking of bones. A spear was thrust into his side to verify that he was, indeed, dead.
(5) The prophet Isaiah foretold that a conqueror named Cyrus would destroy seemingly impregnable Babylon and subdue Egypt along with most of the rest of the known world. This same man, said Isaiah, would decide to let the Jewish exiles in his territory go free without any payment of ransom (Isaiah 44:28; 45:1; and 45:13). Isaiah made this prophecy 150 years before Cyrus was born, 180 years before Cyrus performed any of these feats (and he did, eventually, perform them all), and 80 years before the Jews were taken into exile.
(6) Mighty Babylon, 196 miles square, was enclosed not only by a moat, but also by a double wall 330 feet high, each part 90 feet thick. It was said by unanimous popular opinion to be indestructible, yet two Bible prophets declared its doom. These prophets further claimed that the ruins would be avoided by travelers, that the city would never again be inhabited, and that its stones would not even be moved for use as building material (Isaiah 13:17-22 and Jeremiah 51:26, 43). Their description is, in fact, the well-documented history of the famous citadel.
(7) The exact location and construction sequence of Jerusalem's nine suburbs was predicted by Jeremiah about 2600 years ago. He referred to the time of this building project as "the last days," that is, the time period of Israel's second rebirth as a nation in the land of Palestine (Jeremiah 31:38-40). This rebirth became history in 1948, and the construction of the nine suburbs has gone forward precisely in the locations and in the sequence predicted.
(8) The prophet Moses foretold (with some additions by Jeremiah and Jesus) that the ancient Jewish nation would be conquered twice and that the people would be carried off as slaves each time, first by the Babylonians (for a period of 70 years), and then by a fourth world kingdom (which we know as Rome). The second conqueror, Moses said, would take the Jews captive to Egypt in ships, selling them or giving

Is there someone who really knows SSI that can help me with this income issue?
I'm filing for SSI (again) & have already been told I don't qualify because I didn't make enough income the last 10 years. I didn't get a 1099 is what the problem is.I'm filling out detailed work history forms for the last 20 years. The last 10 years I worked with my ex husband. He took out $4000 a month as a draw (Not as income) for most of those years & I'd deposit it into our joint checking & pay all of our bills & mortgage off with it. It was basically payment to both of us for all our work. But on our taxes he never wrote me as getting any income. I was fine with it because I didn't know I was going to divorce the jerk & be forced to file for disability.
I am sick, with FMS & a few other things, I've been in pain for 20 years, chronic pain for 5 years, to the point of being bedridden. I have a Bachelors of Fine Art degree & years worth of experience in Art, bookkeeping & construction labor. However, because I am so sick I cannot work secularly any more, Im not trying to scam anyone, I'm truly unable to work.
I continued to work with my ex husband in his construction business as much as I could, the last few years I most did secretarial stuff & designed his websites, etc. But since I never really showed I received an income (from him) Soc Sec' is telling me I don't qualify.
I've since remarried & my husband makes SLIGHTLY more then poverty level, so I don't qualify for SSDI either, but they are investigating my work history now to see if I can really qualify for SSI.
My problem is, I've gone through this before in the last couple years, & after spending hours filling out their forms & going through their interviews, I'm told the same exact thing, that I do indeed have an illness, all my doctors agree to that as well, but since I don't show an income for all these past years, I don't qualify.
So I'm stuck, in pain, taking pain pills, not being able to work or teach art like I wanted to, my husband is scraping by to pay our bills & there's nothing I can do about it.
Help!
How can I get SS to see that I am really sick, that I really did work for the last 22 years, & that I need help to pay off regular bills.
Can I show somehow that the income my ex husband took included me (even though tax records always showed him as the sole provider)?
I did work at other jobs outside of the home & I have those listed, but I don't remember what I made exactly or what months I worked, will SSI want to know exact information, or can I just guesstimate? How can I remember what I made delivering carparts part time for 6 months, 19 years ago? (NO I don't have tax records back then, my ex husband is spiteful & refuses to help me at all, & I only have 10 days to fill out this new paperwork for SSI, I don't have time or energy to request & get old tax records.)
I know this is confusing, but I really need some help & advice. Any will be greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU!

Question #18:
Should Obama place a moratorium on new Wind Farm construction and shut down existing Wind Farms?
While thinking about the Gulf oil moratorium imposed by Obama because of the recent BP oil spill, I came to wonder why a similar action has not been directed towards Wind Farms in this country. Apparently, as long ago as 2004, it was noted that bird kills due to such wind installations is alarmingly high. Claims by the industry that newer designs will cut down on such kills, are doubtful.Should the industry be fined for killing protected species (which, at this point, would be $Millions), along with shutting down the wind farms until they can assure us that bird kills will be dramatically reduced? The poor critters have a tough enough time dealing with cars and buildings..... I certainly hope that the wind industry does not use that as an excuse to be able to kill 'their share' of them!

"Giant wind turbines at Altamont Pass, California, are illegally killing more than 1,000 birds of prey each year, according to a lawsuit filed January 12 by the Center for Biological Diversity.
Thousands of Deaths Every Year
Thousands of wind turbines were built in Northern California’s Altamont Pass region during the 1980s in response to activist groups’ call for greater reliance on renewable energy sources. Construction of the wind turbines, however, has made the region one of the most deadly places in the world for a large variety of birds. Literally thousands of birds are killed by the turbines each year, including roughly 1,000 annual kills of such valued birds of prey as golden eagles, red-tailed hawks, and burrowing owls.
Complicating matters, Altamont Pass is a major migration route for birds of prey in North America. The federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act makes it illegal to kill migratory birds without permits. According to Benito Perez, special agent in charge of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Portland, Oregon, office of law enforcement, every killing of a migratory bird by the Altamont Pass wind turbines is a violation of federal law.
Moreover, the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act prohibits the killing of eagles. Yet in Altamont Pass, home to the nation’s largest concentration of golden eagles, wind turbines kill hundreds of the majestic birds every year.
“Altamont has become a death zone for eagles and other magnificent and imperiled birds of prey,” said Jeff Miller, a spokesman for the Center for Biological Diversity. “Birds come into the pass to hunt and get chopped up by the blades.”
Owners of the wind turbines assert they have gone to great measures to protect birds from being sliced up by the turbine blades, but the technology simply does not exist to generate wind power without sacrificing an immense number of birds each year.
Many of the Center for Biological Diversity’s recommendations for ameliorating bird deaths, such as moving the Altamont Pass turbines to different locations, would necessitate significant up-front expense and make wind power generation even less efficient than is already the case. Wind power is already significantly more expensive to produce than power from such traditional sources as oil, coal, and natural gas, even though wind power receives substantial subsidies from U.S. taxpayers.
A study conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory found that Altamont Pass bird deaths are more prevalent than previously thought. According to the January 30 Oakland Tribune, previous studies conducted by wind farm operators had underestimated Altamont Pass bird kills by 25 to 300 percent. Moreover, new technologies designed to reduce the number of bird deaths will actually have the effect of increasing turbine bird kills.
The new study, summarized the Tribune, “suggests the [bird death] problem is more serious than previously thought.”
Other studies, also issued in January, showed wind turbines may be more dangerous to humans than had previously been thought.
“There is a public perception that wind power is ‘green’ and has no detrimental effect on the environment,” said Osborne. “However, these turbines make low-frequency noises that can be as damaging as high-frequency noises.”
“Wind power may well be the least environmentally friendly idea ever proposed by environmentalists,” noted Iain Murray, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute."

Gwen.... you are in Denial.
Citing the American Wind Energy Association??!! Sheesh!
Virtual Guy.... The point that I am trying to make is that the Gulf oil spill.... as unfortunate as it was.... was enough to shut down oil rigs and exploration in the gulf until the Obama folks are satisfied that it won't happen again.
I question why there seems to be a double-standard for non-fossil fuel mis-haps. And no, I do not work for BP or Big Oil. I simply question things that appear to fly in the face of common sense/fairness.
